Flight controller is not connecting to the configurator
  1. Configurator says “failed to open serial port” when trying to connect.
    1. You’re using the wrong configurator, download the correct configurator (client) from https://flightone.com/download – make sure you’re also using the matching firmware for said configurator which can be downloaded from the same address.
    2. Client will not auto detect flight controller. It just sits there with the video playing when I connect my FC.
      1. Do both the Blue and Green LED”s come on when plugging in your FC?
        1. Yes.
          1. Make sure you’re using a micro USB cable that supports data transfer.
          2. Download zadig from zadig.aikeo.ie
          3. Run zadig
          4. Connect your FC
          5. Open zadig
          6. Go to options > list all devices
          7. Go to the drop down menu and look for RaceFlight FC
          8. If you see it select it and see what driver is ALREADY installed (It should be HID Input Device, or Human Interface Device)
          9. If it’s not then you’ll need to fix your RaceFlight FC driver according to this post

            2. Follow this guide and it should work. If it didn’t then you did something wrong
        2. No
          1. Flash in DFU mode by bridging the bootloader pads.
          2. If it shows up in DFU mode correctly and flashed correctly disconnect the FC
          3. Unbridge the bootloader pads
          4. Reconnect the FC
          5. Blue and green LED’s should come on
          6. If they do:
            1. Follow the Yes steps
          7. If they don’t:
            1. Then your FC chip is probably damaged and you may qualify for the damaged replacement program
